OPEN POSITION:

“STAGE” Manager and Customer Support Lead

Job Overview

You will be working with a national organization, responsible for expert representation of multiple manufacturers of premium foodservice equipment and supplies.  You will be responsible for managing our new STAGE Hospitality Centre and our Customer Support Team.  We are looking for a dynamic, proactive person who takes initiative on tasks.  You will help build new customer relationships and further develop our connections with our existing customer base. You will work primarily from our Mississauga head office, with some opportunity to work remotely.  Work is primarily daytime hours with very occasional evenings.

This role will include:

  • Ensure high quality customer service by cultivating relationships with existing customers and develop strategies to attract new guests. 
  • Plan, coordinate, and host a wide variety of hospitality-related events, promoting WDC and our brands.
  • Plan and stage educational sessions, in collaboration with our Culinary and Sales Teams.
  • Marketing WDC and the STAGE Hospitality Centre through email and social media.
  • Day to day customer and sales team support.
  • Work with the Culinary Team to maintain a spectacular looking facility.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows.

The role will be supported by our Culinary Team, and Sales Team.  You will interact frequently with our manufacturers, local channel partners, chefs, restaurant operators, institutions, universities, hospitals, hotels, and chains.

Required Experience/Skills

  • Skilled in building relationships, engaging clients, anticipating customer needs, and exceeding expectations
  • Comfortable with computer skills and proper online communication
  • Hospitality experience, such as event planning, front of house management, hosting
  • Comfortable presenting in front of groups of 5-25 people
  • Social media experience
  • Soft skills like adaptability, follow-up, and attention to detail

Nice-to-Haves

  • French language speaking and understanding 
  • Culinary experience

  • Base salary, goal-oriented commissions, and company success bonus opportunities

OPEN POSITION:

Distribution/Inventory Administrator

Job Overview

You will be working with a national organization, responsible for expert representation and distribution of multiple manufacturers of premium foodservice equipment and supplies.  You will be responsible for the purchasing, invoicing, and administrative duties associated with our portfolio of distributed products.  You will work primarily from our Mississauga head office.   

This role will include:

  • Purchasing and invoicing transactions for all WDC distributed brands.
  • Inventory management for all WDC distributed brands.
  • Promotion and strategic marketing of WDC distributed brands and specific products.
  • Day to day customer and sales team support.

The role will be supported by our Support Team and Management Team.  You will interact frequently with our manufacturers, channel partners, and WDC colleagues.

Required Experience/Skills

  • Comfortable with computer skills and proper online communication.
  • Accounting program experience.
  • Purchasing and/or inventory control experience.
  • Ability to perform light duties in the warehouse to support shipping and receiving functions.
  • Soft skills like adaptability, follow-up, and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Haves

  • French language speaking and understanding 
  • Hospitality/Foodservice industry experience
